Sunscreen

Today was Beau's first encounter with sunscreen. It went very well I think. We purchased the spray kind, because it is quicker and less rubbing involved, which she hates.

Why sunscreen? Beause of Beau's first dinner on the grounds at Legacy Park! She looked so sweet in her all-inspired Shug-purchased outfit. She got TONS of compliments. It is so nice that winter is over and Spring is here! It made me wonder how she is going to handle the beach this Summer...hopefully well if she doesn't get freaked out by the sand or try to eat it! And also made me think of all the equipment we will have to lug down to the beach every day. I use to think I brought a lot...I have a feeling Beau is going to need A LOT more than me!

Changing Table Videos

Buddy and I are taking the weekend off from parenting and each other...haha. I am going to SSI with my girls (Becca, Megan, Sarah, Brianne and Marla) and he is going camping with Justin in Fort Yargo, GA. So Beau will be with Gigi and Poppie this weekend getting spoiled ROTTEN!

I didn't have anything eventful to post this week so I decided to upload a few of the videos we have captured on her changing table. She does the funniest things when she is up there! Hope you all enjoy!

5 months!

Beau is 5 months old already! We have noticed since she was born that she spits up a lot. We thought that she was just a spitter, like Buddy was, but I got to thinking that it was just a little too much. Buddy is a bit lactose intolerant, so I thought Beau might be a bit too. So we switched her to Soy formula and her spit up has become A LOT less. Also we started her on some baby Zantac, which might be helping some too. The poor baby is having some digestive difficult while her system is getting us to this new formula.



She has rolled over from front to back and back to front, and has already started to make some efforts toward crawling. So it won't be long now before she is mobile! I am torn between what I want her to do. Some days I can't wait for her to crawl so she can go where she wants and do what she wants instead of me having to guess, but then other days I wish she would go back to a day when she would just sit still while I held her. I just try to savor every moment and live in that second, not looking forward to the future or wishing for the past. I know all of these baby days will be over too quickly and I'm trying to soak up every smile, every touch, every giggle and every snuggle. My baby won't be a baby for long!

I Have Feet!

Beau has made a new discovery this week...she has feet! She has been grabbing at them when she is on the changing table and pulling them toward her face. Can't wait until I can snap a photo of her putting them in her mouth like my mom has of me! Here are some pictures of those cutie-tootie-footsies for now...

Yep...It's Been a Long Time

I am sure you all have quit reading this, but I am going to make this a priority again, I promise! Now that I am back at work, I do have a few moments to myself that I can spend writing a little family update. Hopefully I can get back to writing once a week.

I have been inspired recently to write more because I just made a book for Beau Breezy of all the posts from when I was pregnant for her to have when she is having her first baby. And I absoutley LOVE it! I found the perfect website http://www.blurb.com/ to convert my blog into a book, and it gave me more liberty in the design than most sites which I really liked. I am in the process of making a wedding one now, since I neglected that as well.

Also, here are some of my favorite pictures of Beau Breeze so far, that I took with my new camera! After the Christmas fiasco, I finally got it by the middle of January.
